Bra Manufacturers in Guangdong: Minimum Orders and Who They Work With
Guangdong makes most of China's bras — but the entry threshold differs by an order of magnitude. Here are the thresholds as the manufacturers publish them themselves, so you know before the first email who is worth writing to.
For a buyer ordering 3,000–20,000 pieces per colour, the name of the city matters less than the entry threshold of the particular plant. Some Guangdong factories only take enterprise programmes measured in hundreds of thousands of pieces; others start from a few hundred. Both are fine — they are just different businesses. The problem is writing to the wrong one and losing two weeks on a reply that was a polite no.
The table below lists working thresholds taken from the manufacturers' own published materials — capacity figures, order minimums, who they name as clients. Where a factory does not publish a number, we write not published instead of guessing. Sources were checked on 2 October 2026.
Three clusters, three kinds of buyer
- Shantou (Gurao) — the "capital of underwear": a full cycle within a 30-minute radius (fabric, lace, moulded cups, dyeing). Entry thresholds here run from very low (from 300 pieces) to enterprise — both kinds of factory sit in the same town.
- Dongguan — mid-market brands and OEM, including us; strong competence in fit and in small-to-mid series.
- Shenzhen / Foshan / Guangzhou — enterprise programmes (Regina Miracle), premium brand groups and niche specialists (for example, silicone solutions).

Who is not on the list — on purpose
Factories with published minimums of 300–500 pieces are left out: they compete in exactly our segment, and a row in this table would be an advert at their expense and ours. Premium brand groups are mentioned once, at cluster level, without turning the table into a directory. Aimer is a Beijing group, not Guangdong; Casland (Foshan) works the fashion/premium segment; the silicone specialists in Guangzhou make a different product.
The selection rule is simple: a factory gets a row only if it does not work with orders our buyers bring — or if the row helps the buyer see the boundary. Everything above rests on numbers those companies published themselves; nothing is our own estimate of a competitor.
So who should you write to?
If your programme runs from hundreds of thousands of pieces a year, the enterprise groups in the top rows are the right conversation. If your order starts at 3,000 pieces per colour — one style, one colour, sizes distributed to your size breakdown — that is our segment: we develop from a tech pack or a reference sample, sew, finish and pack under your label in Dongguan, and nothing goes into bulk until you approve the sample.
